Paws Resort & Spa In-House Training
The Paws Resort & Spas offer a great real-time testing environment for dogs that are in training. Our successful training strategies has led to many satisfied and repeat customers.
Create the total canine. Would you like to take your dog places and have it act appropriately? Our positive and fun training methods build the bond between you and your canine best friend to make this possible. Our goal is to teach handlers how to communicate with their dog. Learn why your dog does what it does. It's very difficult to stop bad behaviors if you don't know why your dog is doing hem. Training your dog gives your friend a "job" to do and helps them understand what their boundaries are. Without direction your best friend could create his own boundaries, for example counter surfing, chasing cars/bicycles, chewing your possessions, guard its' territory etc. Your best friend is looking for someone to show him about how things are and someone to spend time with. Why not have a little bit of fun with your friend while you show him the ropes?
The Paws Resort & Spa on Bell
Kacey Overton, our Lead Counselor at our Bell Resort is also a certified trainer. She specializes in one-on-one training with the dog while at the resort attending daycare or boarding. She then conducts one-one-one sessions with the owner and the dog to show what the dog has learned and how to maintain the propoer behavior. Wendi Faircloth, our Lead Cousnelor at our Shea Resort is also a certified trainer. She specializes in conducting classes held at The Paws Resort & Spa on Shea. The Paws Concierge has selected Pet Behavior Solutions as its outside Training Partner. Pet Behavior Solutions has developed a balanced method of training and behavior modification called Choice Training. They teach your pet to use its own trial-and-error learning system to discover behavior choices you prefer.
Choice Training is about controlling your pet's environment and resources. It is not about controlling your pet!
