We are pleased to announce that Phoenix ’s beloved Top Dog, Eileen Proctor, will be bringing her many strategic marketing and business development talents to Paws Resort and Spa. She will also be providing her knowledge and expertise in our Villa La Paws rebranding and franchise launch.

Since pioneering  the local  dog daycare industry back in October 2000, Top Dog Eileen Proctor has earned a well deserved reputation for knowing just how to make dogs… and their owners… smile. We’re thrilled that she will be developing and managing pooch and people-pleasing programs on behalf of Paws Resort & Spa because quite frankly, there’s just nobody better to “market for those who bark-it!”.  

Since selling It’s A Ruff Life, just over a year ago, Eileen has crafted a successful career as a professional speaker, media personality, published author, and small business consultant… all the while serving as an ardent spokesperson for the animal rescue community. In support of her blossoming canine-centric communications career, Paws Resort and Spa has proudly stepped forward as one of the Top Dog’s Blue Ribbon sponsors, supporting her heartfelt mission to sniff out and divulge the information, products and services that will “improve the quality of life for dogs and the people who love them”.  

Eileen insists that her personal AND professional associations with Paws Resort and Spa are "proof positive of that it is the finest pet services company in the Valley", adding "how else could I trust them with my own kids?” Her youngest, Tracey, relishes weekly Paws daycare visits while her older doggy daughters, Dizney and Cassie, stay clean and coiffed through regular grooming visits with their ‘Auntie Jane’ at the Shea facility. 

The Top Dog’s tail is wagging over this serendipitous reunion with the customers and staff that she still so loves and respects. And, while we are fully aware that she is actively involved with other venues to express her talents and passions within the pet world, we not-so-secretly hope to keep her so busy at Paws that she never gets out of our yard again!.  

Eileen is putting her pawprints all over our upcoming Social at the Shea facility on Wednesday, August 13 between 7-9pm, so you KNOW it’s going to be a good time! Be sure to come by to say “hi” and “welcome back” to the Top Dog!
